We are looking for a Java Full Stack Developer to join a dynamic modernization program in Herndon, VA involving direct support to the mission. Provides engineering and programming support to projects and infrastructure support activities. Designs and develops enterprise applications in a web environment; develops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions, including customizing software to optimize operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- May analyze and design databases within an application area, individually or in coordination with database development teams
- May manage websites, including design, development, deployment, maintenance, testing, and quality assurance of websites and web applications
- Apply knowledge and provide guidance across all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Analyze user and business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems
- Create advanced models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an application
- Provide analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status
- May act as a consultant across multiple programs and/or contracts within a division
Requirements:
- Experience with Angular and Java
- Willingness to develop and implement solutions in a dispersed team environment
- Experience working on a Scrum team supporting the Lean Agile Framework
- Ability to conduct routine quality assurance activities, including peer reviews
- Experience with Git and Jenkins
- Demonstrated experience with web service design and development
- Experience with continuous integration, test automation, and DevOps
- Familiarity with Linux environments
- Ability to translate formal and informal system requirements into complex application interface
- Knowledge of Java Database Connectivity (JDBC), Open Database Connectivity (ODBC), or direct database interfaces
- US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00
Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
