Responsibilities
- Participate in building new modules and supporting the application using Java and Python skills
- Propose software implementations using AWS skills to embrace modernization and support firm's Public Cloud Enablement and Adoption
- Design and develop data pipelines to move data from on prem to public cloud.
- Active participation from requirements phase, to design and build, ensuring quality deliverables on schedule.
- Work closely with product team and stakeholders to understand business goals and requirements.
- Communicate technical concepts, problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Coordinate with all teams including Product, Testing, DevOps and Data Science team to support all phases of a project, from requirements design, build to full release.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
- Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
- Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
- Passionate about building an innovative culture
- Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
- Java or Python
- Working with GIT/Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins tools to build and deploy code deployment to production environments.
- Experience working with no-SQL databases like MongoDB and Cassandra
- CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment strategies like Jules/Jenkins
- Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycl e
- AWS certification or working experience with software development on AWS
