We are seeking a skilled Mid to Senior‐level Java Developer to join a long‐term telecom project in Lithuania. You'll design and develop scalable backend solutions within a microservices architecture, build and optimize REST APIs, and ensure the performance, reliability and security of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain backend systems using Java and microservices architecture.
- Build and optimize REST APIs and ensure high performance and scalability.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Implement DevOps practices and collaborate with operations/infrastructure teams.
- Ensure code quality, security standards and best development practices are met.
- Optionally: contribute to telecom (or fintech)‐specific solutions and domain logic.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Java development with strong technical background.
- Solid expertise in solution design and microservices architecture.
- Hands‐on experience building and optimizing REST APIs and backend systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Dockercontainerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Strong problem‐solving, analytical skills and team‐collaboration mindset.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, tooling and infrastructure.
- Good understanding of security principles and secure software development.
- Lithuanian language – mandatory. English language – at least B2 level.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in telecom or fintech projects.
- Prior working experience on large‐scale distributed systems.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern backend frameworks.
