We are seeking a Java Developer to join our rapidly growing global workforce in Sofia, Bulgaria. You will be responsible for planning, successful execution, and ongoing support of complex multi-layer projects. The Java Developer will be working with our global team to coordinate the requirements pipeline, implementation, and release. If you are able to design secure API and functional interfaces, implement complex core logic, and work with other teams to troubleshoot customer-facing production issues, you might be the perfect candidate for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Analyze functional and non-functional requirements
- Research and advise in the selection and integration of the best technologies for our portfolio
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable, reusable, and reliable Java code
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Identify bottlenecks and devise permanent solutions
- Actively troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Produce and maintain technical documentation of the developed modules/applications
- Work closely with other teams and project stakeholders
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of software development experience with Java
- Experience with Hibernate and Spring framework
- Good understanding of design patterns and software architecture principles
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases
- Experience with WebSockets RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of Linux commands and scripts
- Understanding of the FIX protocol is an advantage
- Motivated individual striving to learn, with a getting-things-done mindset
