Java Developer Senior Specialist

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team of Digital & Innovation Department

This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, participate in critical projects and bring impactful contributions to our business.

What you’ll do:

• You will have the opportunity to contribute to the innovative projects;

• Participating in software development and technical analysis activities for all brands managed by Sisal digital assets;

• Work in a cross functional team and a fast-paced environment.

Who you'll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;

• At least 4 years of experience working with Java and Spring;

• Excellent knowledge of Java (version 11 or higher), the Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate and JPA;

• Strong understanding of design patterns and their practical application, as well as basic concepts of networking;

• Understanding of cloud computing and the usage of Kubernetes orchestrator clusters;

• Solid knowledge of SQL, with experience in Oracle Database preferred;

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;

• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Preferably, you also have:

• Previous experience with message broker technologies such as Apache Kafka.

• Basic knowledge of gambling market concepts and rules and/or payment gateway integrations.

• Awareness of security best practices in software development.

• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
