Java Backend Developer

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend applications
• Create RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend components or third-party services
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code adhering to best practices
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality and standards
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues
• Collaborate with front-end developers, QA teams, and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Implement security and data protection measures
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices

• Programming & Frameworks: Java 8+/Spring Boot, Spring MVC
• APIs & Web Services: REST, SOAP (optional)
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis (optional)
• Messaging & Queues: Kafka, RabbitMQ (optional)
• Version Control & CI/CD: Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle
• Containers & Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP (basic knowledge)
• Testing & Security: JUnit, Mockito, OAuth2, JWT (optional)
• Other Tools: IntelliJ IDEA/Eclipse, Postman

Minimum 5+ years of professional backend development experience with Java and related technologies.

• Developing new backend features and APIs
• Maintaining and improving existing applications
• Collaborating with frontend, QA, and product teams on requirements
• Performing code reviews and offering technical guidance
• Debugging and resolving production issues
• Writing unit and integration tests
• Participating in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies
• Documenting technical specifications and code

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in Java backend development, preferably in a microservices environment
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Java Programmer) are a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
• Adaptability to evolving project needs
