Job Title: Module Lead - Java Spring Boot / Angular
Primary Skills: Java 8+, Spring Boot, AWS
Secondary Skills: Java Script/Angular
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled profile with good experience in Java and Spring Boot to manage the design, development, and deployment of robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of AWS services, a strong grasp of software engineering best practices, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Java (and/or in Angular)
- Code Reviews: Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including scrum masters, product owners, architects, developers, and other stakeholders, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all development activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Technical Expertise: Minimum of 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Java (8+), Spring Framework (Boot, Batch, JPA), Docker, Jenkins and AWS cloud services.
- Secondary Skills: Java Script/Angular
- API & AWS Proficiency: Knowledge in designing and implementing secure, REST APIs and AWS Serverless architectures (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway).
- Testing & QA: Strong background in unit testing, integration testing, and code quality assurance using JUnit, Mockito/Behave, SonarQube, Checkmarx and related tools.
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git and GitLab for version control and collaboration.
- Database Knowledge: Experience with RDBMS and NoSql databases, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Agile & Offshore Experience: Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and experience working with geographically distributed teams.
- Estimation Techniques: Ability to accurately estimate the effort required for development tasks and plan accordingly.
Total Experience Expected: 04-06 years
