Job Description
The IWMS Applications Engineer’s primary responsibility is leading the successful deployment and support of IWMS Applications. This position works closely with the Absolute Facility Solutions project team and client stakeholders during the initial deployment and engagement lifecycle. Additional responsibilities include delivering Professional Services such as customer support, training, implementation, technical consulting, and project management.
IWMS Solutions Development and Deployment
- Deploy, customize, upgrade, and troubleshoot commercial off-the-shelf and SaaS IWMS software. This includes, but is not limited to, configuring authentication, data and systems integrations, workflow rules, and email notifications.
- Perform data normalization, mapping, manipulation, and migration using proprietary and industry-standard tools such as MSSQL Server, Data Grip, etc.
- Clearly communicate functional and technical requirements to project stakeholders in an efficient and timely manner.
- Conduct Quality Assurance Testing, help manage User Acceptance Testing, enter and resolve issues in the defect tracking system.
- Act as Technical Lead and collaborate with internal personnel and external vendors to support delivery of IWMS solutions
Customer Support
- Troubleshoot first and intermediate support tickets. Ensure adherence to Help Desk SLA’s to drive customer satisfaction.
- Work with customers to promote product adoption by identifying areas of deficiency and making recommendations for system improvements and expansion.
- Provide professional services to develop custom reports, dashboard, metrics, functionality, and integrations upon customer request and internal approval.
Training & Documentation
- Provide Archibus End-User and System Management training to new and existing customers.
- Contribute to written training manuals and support materials.
- Create and manage software specifications, systems documentation, and knowledgebase articles.
General
- Stay current with IWMS product enhancements, supporting technology, and industry standards as directed.
- Lead/mentor junior personnel.
- Manage and maintain the company development environments and source control ensuring adherence to company processes and coding standards.
- Adhere to documented company standards and maintain accurate time tracking and task notes - ensuring accurate schedule planning, resource allocation, and customer billing.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Familiarity with helpdesk type applications
- Knowledge of facility management concepts and/or Archibus or other Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) is a plus
Pay Range
$90 - $160k depending on skill level and relevant experience
