Job Summary: In accordance with the organization’s mission, vision and values, the IT Tech I is responsible for IT department and equipment. The following duties will apply:
Duties
- Perform regular maintenance to computer files and equipment throughout the agency.
- Directly communicate suggestions, concerns and/or complaints to the Department Director.
- Troubleshoot computer, server and electronic record issues throughout the agency.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with vendors or their intermediaries.
- Assist in training and co-facilitation of electronic record keeping issues for staff.
- Promulgate and maintain security for agency computer system in compliance with 42 CFR and HIPPA laws and agency policy and procedure.
- Responsible for pro-active spreadsheet with regards to IT issues.
- Perform other duties and functions as directed.
Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree and five years of experience in information technology field. Valid NYS Drivers’ License. Bachelors Degree preferred.

Skills Required
- Associates degree in Information Technology
- Five years of experience in information technology
- Valid New York State Driver's License
- Bachelors degree
- Ability to troubleshoot computers, servers, and electronic record systems
- Knowledge and ability to maintain computer system security in compliance with 42 CFR and HIPAA
- Excellent computer skills (including spreadsheets) and general IT maintenance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with diverse staff and vendors
- Ability to train and co-facilitate electronic recordkeeping for staff
- Strong multitasking, problem solving, time management skills and ability to remain calm in a crisis

They utilize a holistic, whole-person care model and offer a wide range of services including clinical care, crisis support, supportive housing, and peer recovery programs across multiple counties in the Finger Lakes region of New York.
