Location: Bend

Compensation: $26.00/hour (plus $0.50/hour for bilingual Spanish)  

Hours: Regular full-time (40 hours/week), 8:00a-4:30p

Benefits: 100% premium paid Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, Agency paid Retirement plan (up to 6%), almost 2 weeks of vacation time accrued in your first year, plus 14 paid Holidays annually, and separate sick leave accrual

Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:

In this on-site role, you'll be the first point of contact for help desk support, assisting agency staff with a range of technology and devices including desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and peripherals. You'll help with setting up new equipment for staff and preparing devices when staff depart, support meetings, trainings, and special events with on-site A/V setup, and help track IT assets and manage inventory along with other administrative tasks. This position requires in-person work at various sites throughout Central Oregon. You'll work under the direction of our Lead IT Systems Support Specialist A, so this is a great opportunity if you're looking to build your IT experience! 

Requirements

Required

• High school diploma/GED required

• One or more years of demonstrated experience in an IT support or related role required; entry-level candidates with relevant certifications or coursework will be considered

• This position requires regular travel throughout Central Oregon. Employees must have access to reliable personal transportation capable of transporting equipment as needed (mileage reimbursement for qualifying work travel available). 

• Required prior to date of hire and throughout employment:

- Valid driver’s license

- Proof of current auto insurance

- Access to reliable transportation

- Enrollment in the Central Background Registry (CBR)

- Satisfactory criminal background check 

- Satisfactory motor vehicle records check

• Above certifications and enrollments must be kept current to remain employed.

Preferred

• Associate’s degree in information systems or related field preferred

Skills Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One or more years of demonstrated IT support or related experience (entry-level with relevant certifications/coursework considered)
  • Regular travel throughout Central Oregon
