Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our team. As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on Office 365, Intune, Entra (Azure AD), and Azure/AWS. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of these technologies and demonstrate proficiency in their usage. This position will be based in our Milton Keynes, UK office (hybrid 2-3 days), while also providing remote end-user support for the EMEA region and occasionally the APAC region. The ability to effectively manage remote support is crucial. This role also involves supporting both Windows and Apple macOS computers. Experience in ticketing and incident logging is required to ensure efficient tracking and resolution of IT issues.


Responsibilities:


•Administer Entra / Azure AD, including user and group management, conditional access policies, and integration with other cloud services.

•Manage the O365 and other SaaS applications

•Manage the infrastructure on Azure/AWS and on-premises, including DNS, VPN, domain management, SSL 

•Maintain and support Entra as the identity and access management solution for our organization.

•Configure, deploy, and manage Intune MDM for device management, application deployment, patch management, and security policies.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions

•Provide remote end-user support for the EMEA (UK, Netherlands, Dubai) and APAC regions

•Procure and deploy computers for local and remote locations, supporting both Windows and Apple macOS computers.

•Support applications within the tech stack, ensuring they are operational and meeting user needs.

•Log and manage incidents using ticketing systems to track and document IT issues.

•Prioritize and escalate incidents based on severity and impact to ensure timely resolution.

•Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) in providing timely updates and resolutions to end users.

•Provide networking support, including Wi-Fi setup and troubleshooting.

•Provide after-hour support coverage


Work Conditions:


•Working outside of core hours may be required at times.

•Able to lift, carry, and bend as required to install common end-user computing items, including desktop PCs, monitors, and printers.


Requirements:


•2-4 years of Systems Administration experience.

•1-2 years of networking experience (LAN, WAN and Wi-Fi)

•Solid experience and expertise in managing and administering Office 365 services, including SharePoint, Email, OneDrive, and Defender.

•Extensive knowledge of Intune for device management, application deployment, and security policies.

•Strong proficiency in Azure AD or Active Directory, including user and group management, conditional access policies, and cloud service integration.

•Familiarity with Single Sign-On as an identity and access management solution (i.e. Entra / Azure AD).

•Knowledge of network services, including site-to-site VPN, client VPN, VLAN, domain management, DNS, SSL, FTP

•Proven track record in supporting and troubleshooting issues related to the mentioned technologies.

•Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide efficient resolutions.

•Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders remotely.

•Ability to manage remote end-user support for multiple regions, including EMEA and APAC.

•Experience in procuring and deploying computers for remote locations, supporting both Windows and Apple macOS computers.

•Familiarity with supporting applications within the tech stack.

•Experience in ticketing systems and incident logging to ensure efficient tracking and resolution of IT issues (examples: FreshService, Service Now, Jira,).

•English writing and verbal proficiency are required.


Preferred Qualifications:


•Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

•Relevant certifications in Office 365, Azure, AWS, Intune, and network.

•Knowledge of Azure/AWS IaaS

•Experience with PowerShell, Python, PowerAutomate for automation and customization tasks.

•Familiarity with other cloud-based services and platforms.
