The Opportunity:

We are growing fast and looking for a highly motivated IT Systems Administrator to join our IT team working out of our future NYC office. The role will collaborate with the Security and Compliance team, as well as alongside other technical teams to support and manage our digital resources, including Google Workspace, Cloud Storage, SSO Deployment, Onboarding/Offboarding processes, Workstation Management, and Security Administration.

Responsibilities:

● Assist in the administration of Google Workspace, Okta, Checkpoint, CrowdStrike, Jamf, and other cloud-based services

● Help with the deployment and management of SSO services, machine management software, and various other IT Projects.

● Participate in the onboarding and offboarding process of staff, including setting up and decommissioning user accounts and workstation equipment.

● Assist in workstation management, including hardware and software installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

● Support security administration tasks and assist in security audits to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our IT systems.

● Create and maintain formal documentation for both internal use and for end users.

Qualifications:

● Associate's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

● Minimum 3-5 years experience in system administration, or a similar role.

● Knowledge of Google Workspace, Atlassian, Slack, Dropbox, and similar corporate IT tools.

● Experience managing endpoint security, MDM, and access control solutions.

● Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) best practices.

● Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.

● Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, firewalls).

● Experience with Incident Response, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery.

● Familiarity with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python) is a plus.

● Familiarity with cloud computing services (AWS, GCP) is a plus

● Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.

● Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Preferred:

● Experience with compliance, privacy, and security frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR) is preferred.

● Experience with Jamf and Intune is preferred.

● Experience with Google Workspace is preferred.

● Experience with supporting a hybrid workforce is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Tier 1* (San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Tri-State Area, Los Angeles Metro Area, and Seattle Metro Area)$115,000 - $165,000/year

  • Offers Bonus

*Certain markets, including the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Tri-State Area, Los Angeles Metro Area, and Seattle Metro Area, are aligned to Tier 1 compensation bands. All other U.S. locations are aligned to Tier 2 compensation bands. The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
