Job Description

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to support our IT Administrator who is willing to learn and grow. Candidate should be technically skilled with good problem-solving abilities. The duties include being a point of contact for IT related questions at the user level, responding to user needs in a timely manner, and ensuring the optimal running of all systems, among other duties. Additionally responsible for the coordination of business processes through Salesforce.com. This includes but is not limited to developing reports, dashboards, workflows, 3rd party applications, ensuring user adoption and providing ongoing education and support for all Salesforce users. This role supports our technology roadmap with growth opportunities and efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Project work including Microsoft O365, Windows Server, Networks and Cybersecurity
  • Setup and deploy desktops, laptops, firewalls, servers, switches, etc.
  • High-level knowledge of commonly used software, hardware, and other applications.
  • Assist team in proactively monitoring and troubleshooting managed servers, networks, and devices.
  • Assist team in monitoring ticketing queue, support requests and documenting in system.
  • Provide remote and on-site server/workstation technical support.
  • Administer and maintenance of Salesforce.com for teams - users, field creation, workflows, roles & hierarchy, reports, and dashboards (Initial training provided).
  • Help develop innovative engagement methods to ensure Salesforce "best practices".
  • Coordinates on-boarding of new salesforce members, training on all aspects of existing and new processes and maintenance.
  • Ensuring processes to maintain information is current and necessary.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand and document requirements.
  • Support teamwork and get internal and external feedback on processes, procedures, and technology.
  • Works with ERP, Salesforce, and other data sources to achieve business goals. Provides communication on updates and changes. 
  • Other supporting duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2 or 4+ year degree with IT related courses preferred.
  • 2+ years of IT Support experience preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Multitasking skills to assist multiple employees at once.
  • Time management skills to provide updates and fixes within a promised time frame.
  • Customer service skills to interact professionally and positively with coworkers.
  • Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing systems and processes, ability to understand and communicate technical information preferred.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, skills with PowerPoint and Excel, required.
  • Attention to detail with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to get along in a team environment.
  • Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Positive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset.
