We're now looking for an IT Support Analyst in Warsaw, Poland!
As an IT Support Analyst at Vertiv, you will play a key role in delivering 1st and 2nd level IT support to users across Eastern Europe. As part of the global IT Site Support team, you will help ensure the reliable operation of IT infrastructure and services, aligning local business requirements with global standards, policies, and procedures.
Your responsibilities will include administering IT systems, configuring and maintaining hardware and software, providing user training and technical guidance, and supporting day-to-day IT operations. You will also contribute to global IT initiatives focused on service improvements and the deployment of new technologies. This position reports directly to the regional IT Manager.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Timely IT Support:
- Provide timely IT support for Vertiv employees.
- Provide On-Shift support for network outages or other P1 and P2 incidents.
- Troubleshooting and Prevention:
- Troubleshoot issues and take a proactive approach to prevent possible technical problems.
- Ticketing System:
- Track work and user requests through the global ticketing system.
- Asset Management:
- Manage hardware and software assets.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Manage Active Directory Objects.
- Manage file server access rights.
- Global Collaboration:
- Collaborate with global IT teams on projects, requests, and problems.
- Security and Compliance:
- Strictly adhere to corporate security and data retention policies.
- Manage antivirus protection and other applications of client computers.
- Implement hard-drive encryption on corporate laptops.
- Operating Systems:
- Implement and manage Microsoft Clients and Server operating systems.
- Network Support:
- Supervise and maintain network rooms
- Communicate issues with the global networking teams and provide the necessary local assistance.
- Training and Consulting:
- Provide training to new employees on existing technology.
- Consult employees on potential uses of existing technology.
- Network Access:
- Provide network access for all employees.
- Equipment Preparation and Installation:
- Prepare new IT equipment, software, and workstations.
- Install security updates, dependencies, and required software.
- Connect and set up hardware at work desks.
- Manage cable organization on users' work desks.
- User Account Administration:
- Manage user network accounts and passwords as required.
- System Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Monitor critical IT systems.
- Supervise and maintain network rooms.
- Disposal and Security:
- Identify and prepare hardware for disposal.
- Implement and manage different engineering software tools.
- Service Coordination:
- Organize repairs with authorized service partners.
- Prepare IT equipment in meeting rooms.
- Planning and Budgeting:
- Assist in planning and executing the annual IT operating plan.
- Provide assistance and opinions in planning and executing the annual budget for IT equipment and ongoing services.
- Define and make recommendations regarding IT equipment needs according to business requests.
- Additional Tasks:
- Perform any other tasks given by the direct manager or management in connection with the responsibilities of the position and compliance with the law.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required.)
- Technical skills:
- Excellent knowledge of client and server Windows operating system
- Good knowledge of network technology and protocols
- Troubleshooting of hardware and software problems
- Active user of MS Office incl. Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Not mandatory but welcome: Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL or similar certification
- Practical skills: Good analytical skills, Assessment skills, Organizational skills
- Core competencies: good communication skills Initiative, Creative, Persuasive, Able to deal with conflict, Problem solving, Detail oriented, Analytical.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
(The minimum education, certification, special training, and minimum 3 years of experience required to do a satisfactory job.)
- Bachelor´s degree in Information science/computer science/MIS
- 3 + years on similar positions.
- Active English
Mandatory requirements (to be finished within first month of employment):

The anticipated salary range for this role in Warsaw, Poland is between PLN 102,240 to PLN 127,800 gross per year (based on a full-time working week). Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation and benefits. Where applicable, a comprehensive overview of the full benefits package and any additional compensation will be provided during the recruitment process in accordance with local legal requirements. Compensation is determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria, including skills, experience, and job responsibilities.
