We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join the professional support team in Limassol (office-based work).
The specialist will primarily focus on software administration and support, particularly with brokerage systems, ensuring smooth operation, troubleshooting issues, and providing ongoing support. Infrastructure-related tasks will make up 30-40% of the workload.
This role requires working in 8-hour shifts to provide 24/7 support, including weekends, for maintenance and operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer the company’s trading platforms and related software, both third-party and in-house developed.
- Provide IT services as part of a team that covers all aspects of L2 and L3 IT support.
- Administer Windows-based servers, ensuring timely updates, backups, and smooth operation.
- Monitor servers, services, and the company’s network infrastructure, identifying and resolving issues.
- Perform regular checks on the performance and health of all servers, trading platforms, and other systems.
- Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional tasks and projects.
Key Requirements:
- A degree in IT or relevant field and 3+ years of experience in IT-related roles.
- At least 1 year of experience supporting Windows systems.
- Ability to self-learn new technologies, especially those related to financial markets and specialized software.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to read logs and troubleshoot issues with trading platforms, applications, and hardware.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL) and writing simple queries.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence for ticketing and documentation.
- Familiarity with Zabbix monitoring system.
- Teamwork skills, attention to detail, and patience.
- Time management, punctuality, and the ability to handle complex tasks.
- Previous experience with Forex/Fintech technologies or in a similar role will be a plus.
- Language proficiency - Intermediate level of English, Fluent level of Russian language.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience administering Metatrader 4/5 platforms.
- Knowledge of more advanced SQL queries.
- Experience analyzing FIX API logs.
- Linux system administration experience.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Python).
- Understanding of network protocols and routing protocols.
