OverviewReporting to the IT Operations Manager at our NYC Global HQ, the IT Support Intern is a hands-on, on-site role providing the day-to-day IT support that keeps DoubleVerify's New York office running smoothly and its remote employees equipped and connected.
As the first point of contact for many end-user needs, the ideal candidate brings a friendly, proactive attitude and genuine interest in technology. You'll work alongside the on-site IT team to handle hardware logistics, maintain IT inventory, support company events, and provide technical assistance to employees both in-office and remote. This is a great opportunity to gain real-world corporate IT experience, including emerging technologies like AI, in a fast-paced, publicly traded technology company.
What You'll Do- Assist the On-Site IT Support team providing first-level contact for employees needing technical assistance at NYC HQ.
- Troubleshoot Mac and PC laptops, monitors, docking stations, peripherals, and printers
- Prepare and configure workstations for new hires, moves, and hardware refreshes.
- Assist with IT onboarding and offboarding tasks, including device staging and first-day readiness.
- Assist with equipment deployment and support
- Assist team in support of AV used in conference rooms and large company events
- You get real-world hands-on experience with platforms like Google Workspace, GCP, Slack, Okta, Jira, Confluence, Glean, Claude AI, ChatGpt and more.
- Working knowledge of macOS and Windows operating systems.
- Strong customer service orientation — friendly, patient, and proactive.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with a fully on-site schedule at the NYC office.
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs (monitors, laptops, peripherals).
- Experience troubleshooting Mac and PC hardware or software issues.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (Freshservice, Jira, ServiceNow, or similar).
- Exposure to AV/conference room technology or live event production.
- Interest in IT operations, systems administration, or corporate technology.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV.
