Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on IT Support Engineer to strengthen our global IT Operations team. In this role, you will ensure that employees across all Evooq and Edgelab locations have reliable, secure, and efficient access to the technology they need. You will be based in the Warsaw office and work closely with teams across Europe and Asia, providing both onsite and remote support.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving diverse technical problems, takes initiative, communicates clearly, and thrives in a fast-paced, modern cloud-centric environment.

As an IT Support Engineer you will be responsible for:

End-User Support & Device Management

  • Provide timely and effective onsite IT support for employees in the Warsaw office, ensuring minimal disruption to their workflows.
  • Deliver high-quality remote support to colleagues in other international offices using remote access tools and collaboration platforms.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, mobile devices, peripherals, and office equipment.
  • Offer guidance and training to employees on the proper use of IT systems, tools, and security best practices.
  • Produce clear, concise user guides, FAQs, and internal knowledge base articles.

Hardware, Inventory & Office IT

  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT hardware: procurement, inventory, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
  • Prepare and configure devices for new hires, ensuring smooth and secure onboarding.
  • Maintain and improve physical office IT infrastructure, including printers, telephony systems, e-screens, meeting room equipment, and access points.
  • Perform basic network cabling and ensure that office wiring and device placement follow best practices.

Network & Infrastructure Support

  • Support local and remote network environments, including routers, switches, and Wi-Fi systems.
  • Monitor network performance, assist with troubleshooting connectivity issues, and escalate complex problems to senior engineers.
  • Collaborate with the central IT operations team to implement improvements, enforce standards, and ensure consistent experience across all locations.

Identity, Access & SaaS Administration

  • Create, modify, and deprovision user accounts across platforms such as Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Atlassian, and Slack.
  • Manage group memberships, access permissions, and application entitlements following company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with security guidelines, including MFA enforcement, password standards, and provisioning workflows.

Documentation & Process Development

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date technical documentation for devices, configurations, and procedures.
  • Contribute to building internal IT best practices for hardware management, security, onboarding, and operations.
  • Suggest and help implement improvements to IT workflows, automation, and support processes.

6. Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with engineering teams, security, and operations to ensure seamless alignment on IT and security standards.
  • Communicate issues, solutions, and updates clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Manage expectations effectively and prioritize requests based on urgency and business impact.

7. Travel Requirements

  • Travel occasionally to international Evooq and Edgelab offices for onsite IT support, installations, audits, or office setup projects.

Qualifications

Technical Qualifications

  • Practical experience with GNU/Linux, macOS, and Windows environments.
  • Solid understanding of office networking: routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, VLANs (basic), and common troubleshooting methods.
  • Hands-on experience providing remote and onsite IT support in a professional environment.
  • Familiarity with common office and collaboration hardware (video conferencing systems, printers, peripherals).

Soft Skills & Personal Qualities

  • Proactive and autonomous — able to take ownership of tasks and solve problems independently.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues in a friendly, clear manner.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot unfamiliar or complex problems.
  • Continuous learner with a passion for improving processes, tools, and technical knowledge.
  • Organized and reliable, with attention to detail and a structured approach to task management.

Tech Stack You Will Work With

You will actively support and administer a modern cloud-based IT environment, including:

  • Microsoft Entra ID
  • Microsoft 365 / Office 365
  • Google Workspace
  • Atlassian (Jira, Confluence)
  • Slack
  • Remote support tools & monitoring systems
  • Standard office and conference room equipment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with MDM solutions (e.g., Jamf, Intune, Kandji, Mosyle).
  • Experience working with Identity Providers (IdP) and SSO configurations.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Ubiquiti (UniFi) network systems.
  • Basic scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python) or automation experience.
