For Linklaters Service Delivery Centre Warsaw, we are currently recruiting for the IT Support Engineer role.
Your role
The role is to provide high end IT support to the Warsaw Linklaters office. This involves the provision and management of IT hardware and the delivery of IT support services. This work will include the logging, diagnosing, monitoring and resolving of requests and problems using a call management system; as well as proactive IT advice on relevant IT matters to the Warsaw Core Management Team.
Key responsibilities include:

Management of the local IT hardware over the entire asset lifecycle; from procurement, to installation, supervision, audits, reporting, and replacement.

Ensure global IT processes and procedures are followed locally.

Maintain asset DB, provide liaison with external vendors.

Act as a point of contact in relation to new tools and technologies introduced globally; relay communications and training related to incoming changes.

Provide first line application and hardware support for local Technology tools. Troubleshoot, engage with users, maintain the call queue – while working with other Technology teams and functions to resolve the issues.

Continuous review and consultation of local IT processes and services – ensuring they are fit for purpose and delivering the right quality of services.
Your experience
Aside from the technical aptitude and skills, this role requires excellent customer service and communications skills. As important as the ability to fix an issue is, the ability to engage appropriately with the users to communicate and escalate to other technical teams to resolve the root cause is equally as important.
You will therefore need to be able to cultivate and maintain key relationships – both with local customers as well as global Technology experts (architects, 3rd line support, etc.). You will be proactive in those relationships – able to recognise the needs, problems, and opportunities related to local IT before they are officially raised.
We are seeking an individual who:

Demonstrates aptitude / enthusiasm for IT.

Has customer service experience.

Has good knowledge of AV technologies and support of video conference systems.

Is able to manually handle IT equipment.

Has support desk experience, or other experience in the IT industry.

Has professional Services experience and or any other corporate experience.
-
Speaks fluent English and Polish.
