Re-entry candidates are individuals at an early career stage within our industry or services, who bring some prior professional experience. This could include those transitioning into a new role (re-entering the field) or returning to work after a break.
We’re looking for those with an entry level understanding of the technologies we work with and the passion to grow in their careers after some time away from the workforce. Your journey as a Technology Consultant will start with an immersive learning program, focused on building a core set of business and consulting skills which you will use working on exciting projects with our flagship clients. We will support you in rebooting your career by offering shadowing and specialization opportunities during the program. Afterward, you'll have the chance to be an IT Consultant!
Our team is one of the most technical in Kyndryl, you will be working to:
- Provide consulting services by developing technology solutions and offering IT strategy insights based on understanding the client’s business objectives and IT requirements
- Advise, analyze, and define client IT strategy to increase business value and improve service delivery, including adopting modern techniques and a modern operating model
- Apply issue-based consulting methods
- Develop architectures, implementation plans, prototypes, and even applications, data dashboard, or AI/ML models.

Who You Are
Required Experience:
- 1-3 years of relevant skills or experience - could require support in learning or re-learning our specific technologies and systems.
- Basic skills (even personal projects would suffice!) in one of our core areas:
- Hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Software Development
- Data Science
- Data Engineering
- Low Code platforms like Microsoft Power Platforms
- Robot Process Automation
- Document Management
- Artificial Intelligence Models or GenAI RAG
- Infrastructure Automation
- Platform Engineering
- DevOps
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in consulting is a plus
- Degree in, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent educational credentials, certifications, or experience.
- Experience in project management disciplines and agile
- Sales or customer facing experience
- Team leadership
- Public speaking
- Graphic Design or PowerPoint design
The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $68,520 to $130,320 based on a full-time schedule.
Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.
There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:
California: $75,480 to $156,480
Colorado: $68,520 to $130,320
New York City: $82,320 to $156,480
Washington: $75,480 to $143,520
Washington DC: $75,480 to $143,520
