ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- The IT Specialist is primarily tasked with maintaining interfaces and end-user systems to be fully operational 24/7/365.
- Responds to user IT requests. Logs resolutions in data base to track issues and for future reference.
- Deploy latest security patches for all computers after testing for compatibility.
- Troubleshoot, identify and resolve technology issues including hardware, software and peripherals.
- Work with external vendors as needed to resolve complex software and/or interface issues.
- Maintain IT asset list with all pertinent data for troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Responsible for technical setup for special events as instructed by IT Director.
- Researches and gathers information on special projects, as necessary.
- Responds to on-call emergencies as assigned or as necessary for 24/7/365 operation of critical systems.
Requirements
- Two- or four-year degree in Information Technology preferred or four years’ related work experience.
- Excellent technology skills required, to include hospitality specific software, networking, security, backup and recovery systems, PCs, laptops, and printers.
- Experience with the hospitality industry is preferred.
