Job Description
We are seeking for a skilled IT Specialist to join our dynamic team in Biatorbágy, Hungary. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing IT projects and providing technical expertise to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of our IT systems.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Enforce Sika’s guiding Policies & Principles in the Country;
- Support the definition and implementation of Sika EMEA Digital / IT Strategy in alignment with the Group Strategy;
- Lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and meet quality standards;
- Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders;
- Coordinate and collaborate with local and international, cross-functional teams to identify IT needs and implement solutions;
- Provide technical expertise and 1st level support for Digital Workplace;
- Ensure compliance with IT-, OT- and Cybersecurity policies, standards and best practices;
- Documentation of the IT landscape (devices, licenses, applications);
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts and IT costs / budget;
- Train and support users in Sika's Digital Workplace environment and Cybersecurity practices;
- IT service management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field;
- 3+ years of experience in IT;
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, digital workplace tools and cybersecurity best practices;
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work with cross-functional teams;
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and staying up-to-date with technological advancements;
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills - with all employee level;
- Proven track record of successful IT project delivery;
- Understanding of IT security best practices;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Hungarian is a must;
- Be a link between IT and business;
- Experience in O365 and cloud services;
- Considered as a plus: experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
