Job Summary


Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. Responds to tickets, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problems, and determines and implements solutions. Serve as Linux, SharePoint and Office 365 administrator.

Essential Functions

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Set up new users and equipment
  • Terminate users and recover user equipment
  • Document procedures
  • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issues has been resolved
  • Administer the company SharePoint (intranet and file shares)
  • Administer Linux servers to include installation, configuration and maintenance
  • Manage Office 365 instance
  • Troubleshoot various windows application
  • Install and update company software and hardware as needed
  • Update wiki/Knowledge base as needed
  • Lift and move equipment
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned based on business need

Minimum Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience as an IT Support/Helpdesk
  • Tech savvy with working knowledge of operating systems and office products
  • Experience with a ticketing system such as ZenDesk and Jira
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with MIcrosoft Entra suite of products
  • Experience with MacOS
  • Good organization, time management and prioritization
  • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
  • Understanding of Active Directory and security permissions

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field
  • A+ certification
  • Network+ certification
  • AZ-900 certification

Working Environment/Physical Demands

  • This is a hybrid role with the expectation of coming into the office at least three days per week.
  • Activities require a significant amount of sitting at office and work desks and in front of a computer monitor
  • Some walking and standing relative to interaction with other personnel
  • Lifting and moving computer equipment such as laptops and monitors
  • Breakdown and set up of conference equipment (audio/video)
