Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented IT Support Level 1 Specialist to join our team! In this role you will get to focus on providing excellent user support, assisting with day-to-day IT operations, and learning from more experienced team members.
This role will only be supporting externally facing customer platforms, and not internal Parsons IT systems.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide Tier 1 support for client platforms and not internal Parsons IT systems, including:
Windows 11 environments and Dell laptops.
Cisco Meraki infrastructure (basic troubleshooting of switches, wireless access points, etc.).
Microsoft 365 services: Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Intune MDM.
iOS device setup and management using Apple Business Manager.
Assist with monitoring IT systems and escalating issues to Level 2 support or senior team members as needed.
Support ticket resolution through Zendesk or similar platforms, ensuring timely responses and accurate documentation.
Help maintain IT documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles.
Perform basic asset management and inventory tracking.
Promote security best practices and assist with endpoint management.
Participate in training opportunities to develop technical skills and knowledge.
Required Qualifications:
1–2 years of IT support experience or equivalent coursework/internship
experience.
Basic knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint,
Exchange).
Familiarity with IT ticketing systems like Zendesk or similar platforms.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
A willingness to learn new technologies and grow within the team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to Cisco Meraki systems or similar networking tools.
Basic understanding of endpoint management tools like Microsoft Intune.
Familiarity with iOS device setup and management.
Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA IT Fundamentals+, Microsoft MS-900).
