Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide high-quality IT support for the Strzelce site while acting as the local IT coordinator, ensuring reliable and secure IT services, supporting business continuity, contributing to IT projects, and driving continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business and IT objectives.

Your responsibilities will be

  • Manage and resolve incidents and service requests via the ITSM system, providing regular updates to users
  • Deliver first-line IT support and escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams
  • Maintain clear documentation, including knowledge base articles and user-friendly self-help materials
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across assigned sites
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment (workstations, printers, network devices)
  • Ensure reliability and integrity of IT systems, including setup of new devices and network connections
  • Perform regular audits and inspections of IT equipment and infrastructure
  • Manage IT assets, including inventory updates, procurement, and disposal of obsolete equipment
  • Coordinate with external vendors for IT services, support, and maintenance
  • Support IT projects and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve IT services, processes, and infrastructure reliability within the site environment
  • Assist with disaster recovery planning and ensure business continuity readiness
  • Promote IT service processes and encourage users to log requests through the Service Desk
  • Provide IT onboarding and user training, including guidance on business applications
  • Support mobile device management in collaboration with external providers
  • Deliver professional, service-oriented IT support to meet organisational standards and KPIs

Skills and education we are looking for

  • Strong working knowledge of IT systems and general IT principles (hardware, software, troubleshooting)
  • Basic understanding of networking (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls)
  • Experience with Windows OS, user account management, and end-user device support (PCs, laptops, printers, mobile)
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure (servers, storage, cloud solutions)
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management processes (incident, request, change – ideally ITIL)
  • Basic cybersecurity awareness (access control, endpoint protection, phishing prevention)
  • Experience in troubleshooting connectivity and system issues
  • Ability to quickly learn and support bespoke/internal applications
  • Experience working with ITSM tools and call logging systems
  • Experience coordinating with external vendors and service providers
