Primary Responsibilities
Security Monitoring and Incident Response:
- Work with the team to monitor SIEM for security breaches and intrusions.
- Investigate security incidents, assess impact, and implement remediation measures.
- As part of the IR team, maintain and refine incident response procedures to ensure timely and effective responses to security events.
Vulnerability Management:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests for on-prem and cloud infrastructure
- Identify and prioritize security vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions.
- Coordinate with system administrators and developers to implement patches and fixes.
Security Awareness and Training:
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
- Promote a culture of security awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on security awareness and best practices.
Physical Security
- Badge management for new hires, lost/damaged replacements, and terminations.
- Door access management
- Review Security Camera footage as needed for investigations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT security roles focusing on security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, security technologies, and best practices for both on-prem and cloud deployments.
- Experience with security assessment tools and techniques.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Cloud Security tools for AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Knowledge of relevant security tools:

- Sentinel One
- Tessian
- Sumologic Cloud SIEM Enterprise
- Rapid7
- Detectify
- Ninjio/Dojo

Work Environment
Nasuni employs onsite, hybrid, and remote employees, who may occasionally come into a Nasuni office, attend events, or visit clients. Nasuni’s offices are open-concept office environments with low but varying noise levels.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to work at a standing or seated desk up to 100% of the time whether remotely or at Nasuni offices. You may be required to attend company events at one of Nasuni’s offices or attend events, conferences, or customer meetings for up to 8 hours at a time. Must be able to interact with co-workers in an office environment and via Zoom, Slack, and MS Teams. Must be able to hear and communicate with clients and candidates through video-calling software and telephone. Must be able to engage in constant repetitive finger and wrist motion for typing. Must be comfortable viewing a computer screen for up to 8 hours per day.
