Department description:

LCH SA is responsible for clearing for the members and clients currently registered for the service with LCH SA. LCH SA IT departments develop and maintain IT Application in charge of the entire clearing process.

IT RepoClear and Digital AssetClear department oversee all transversal applications used for their business.

Team description:         

The IT team develops, tests , deploy and supports the technology for LCH business service. The systems enable to clear and settle the trades for members and provide reports to members and regulators.

Role description:

The RepoClear support analysts are responsible for Level 1, 2 and 3 IT including hands on support of the in-house developed trade management and risk systems.

More specifically, this position is in charge building the production processes, organize the monitoring of the production and coordinate the management of the incidents across applications

The support is required between 8 am and 8 pm Paris time. An on-duty set-up is also in place within the team.

The role will be based in Paris. Strong verbal and written English skills are required.

• Work with the Business lines to write the detailed specifications to be used for the implementation
• Validation of updates of application user guide following releases
• Test and validation of fix and enhancement
• Validation and historization of test results
• Accompany projects to ensure testing perimeter is up to date
• Be the point of contact on testing and any new requirement
• Define with his/her collaborators the test uses cases
• Provide support when member tests campaigns are launched
• Provide frequent statuses on tests perimeter and topics she/he leads
• Provide action and remediation plans when necessary
• Participate in recruitment and ensure integration of new joiner in her/his team
• Participate and be responsible for construction, run and deliveries of his pole (planning, resources, budget)
• Organize governance of her/his initiatives and coordinate with all internal and external participants to ensure deliveries and budget deadlines

• SQL skills suitable to data analysis and problem solving.
• Desire to automate manual tasks in order to improve efficiency.
• Strong understanding of control environment applicable in the regulated Financial Services industry covering key market infrastructure as well as the different controls applied to development, test and production environments.
• Structured approach to working and following process.
• Proactive and clear communicator who will demonstrate initiative and escalate issues quickly when required.
• Strong verbal and written French and English skills.
• Good understanding and experience in the structure and functioning of successful Financial Markets Information Systems
• Ability and proven interest in developing the understanding of our business and systems
• Autonomy, and integration capacity in teams are must have skills
• Good interpersonal skills, and capacity to understand the key users
• Good writing skills (Test plan, Acceptance reports) Good analysis and innovation capacities
• Direct approach, dynamism, delivery oriented state of mind
• Team spirit, and capacity to work in multicultural and distributed teams
• Occasional travel may be required

• Familiarity with Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management tools such as Service Now
• Some experience of coding scripts in a Unix environment and programming in a language such as Java
