As an IT Project Manager at Advansys, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects that align with the organization's strategic goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met while managing scope, budget, and timelines effectively.
- Develop detailed project plans that outline project scope, timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables.
- Coordinate and lead project meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among the project team.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing necessary changes to keep projects on track.
- Monitor and report on project progress, performance metrics, and challenges to stakeholders and executive management.
- Facilitate client and stakeholder engagement, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and adherence to financial targets.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and support for project objectives.
- Implement best practices in project management to optimize project delivery and increase team efficiency.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation to enhance project outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with demonstrated success in delivering complex projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven experience managing project budgets and assessing financial performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Trello is a plus.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
