Join us as an IT Project Manager in Porto and play a key role in delivering one of Europe's most ambitious post-trade transformation programmes.

As part of Euronext Securities, you will help build the infrastructure backbone of Europe's integrated capital markets. Working in an advanced technological environment, you will collaborate with international teams to modernise our post-trade platform and deliver a single, integrated hub serving multiple Central Securities Depositories (CSDs).

Reporting to the Head of IT PM, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic IT projects, collaborating closely with business and technology teams across Italy, Portugal, Denmark, and Norway to ensure successful delivery and alignment across Euronext Securities.

What You Bring
  • At least ten years of IT project management experience in financial services, preferably within post-trade, securities, or capital markets.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex organisational environments.
  • Familiarity with CSD operations, settlement infrastructure, or post-trade regulation (CSDR, T2S) is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; additional European languages are an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support project activities from the earliest stages, coordinating pre-assessments, including high-level requirements gathering, impact analysis, solution design, planning, and effort estimation.
  • Analyse and prioritise initiatives and change requests in line with programme and portfolio objectives.
  • Coordinate project scope, detailed planning, solution design, and effort estimation throughout the execution phase.
  • Manage project plans, dependencies, risks, issues, scope, and change requests while providing regular project status reporting.
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across the overall portfolio of initiatives.
  • Support the successful transition of projects into Business-as-Usual (BAU).
Required Skills
  • Experience delivering IT projects in complex environments.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to document complex assumptions, risks, and commitments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary and cross-company teams.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, including analysing, synthesising, and evaluating information.
  • Flexibility to work in fast-paced environments with changing priorities, combined with strong negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience delivering projects within the financial services or banking sector.
  • Experience as a functional or technical analyst.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, and other project management tools.
  • Certification in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies (e.g. Scrum Master, Scrum Product Owner, PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
  • Academic background in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
