Position Overview
As a Technical Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and finalizing technical projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. You will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for technical projects.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably within an MSP or IT services environment.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and software development life cycles.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira).
Preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools and Professional Services Automation (PSA) systems
