BAE is looking for an experienced Program Director to manage complex, enterprise technology programs. The role will report into our IT Program Management Office (PMO), with deep engagement with stakeholders across BAE Systems business segments. The Program Director will be responsible for end to end execution of programs, managing matrixed IT teams.
The candidate will have strong program management experience managing multiple concurrent programs with several projects rolling up under each of the program. The candidate will be leading programs and projects through the project lifecycle including Planning and Analysis, Execution, Delivery, Stabilization and Benefit Realization.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years relevant experience, or Master's Degree with 10+ years relevant experience.
- Expertise in project management, lifecycle management (LCM), earned value management, risk management, and subcontract management.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting.
- Successful, proven past performance in leading and managing multi-discipline project teams in a high tempo environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing other Program Managers and developing leadership talent.
- Effective problem solving skills, evidenced by success in resolving challenging project constraints.
- Strong presentation and organizational skills while interfacing with executive leadership and customers.
- Strong interpersonal skills within a cross functional team environment.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience driving enterprise standardization and transformation, with accountability to the executive level.
- Experience in business case development, analysis, and presentation.
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience in Supply Chain, Oracle and ERP.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $153377 - $260743
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
