If so, now is your chance to join Ascendis Pharma as our new IT Product Owner for the Biometrics and Clinical Development areas.

Ascendis Pharma is a global biopharmaceutical company committed to making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. We foster autonomy and self-organization to enable fast flow, clear accountability, and minimal dependencies.

The Clinical domain currently consists of three product teams, supporting our Clinical Operations, Clinical Development, Biometrics, Clinical Data Management and Clinical Trial Supply functions.

We are seeking a passionate IT Product Owner to join our growing team. As a key member of the Global IT team, you will play a crucial role in digitalizing our biometrics and clinical development functions.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional, global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Ensuring that the statistical programmers, biostatisticians and clinical scientists have a coherent technology offering across applications, tools and data that evolves with their needs
  • Communicate closely and frequently with our users and clinical leadership to ensure clear understanding of what is most important for our clinical development and biometrics areas – and translate what that means for the Biometrics IT team
  • Prioritize and manage the Biometrics IT team’s backlog and participate actively in removing impediments for technology delivery
  • Ensure close collaboration with other teams in our IT department to manage dependencies and align on priorities

To succeed in this role, we also expect you to be a proactive self-starter who can identify opportunities for improvement and take initiative to move things forward.

Our team needs to scale to support the ever-growing demands, so we need team members who both can act pragmatically, and solution orientated for the short term, and at the same time are able to think long-term to ensure what we do today can grow to support us in the future.
