This role is a member of the IT Infrastructure Engineering team and collaborates daily with IT Software Engineering and Enterprise Architecture. By practicing DevOps principles, this team leads the way in utilizing modern methods of working to help IT and the bank reliably and efficiently deliver more value to customers. The ideal candidate is expected to demonstrate elevated levels of collaboration across teams with a focus on people and ad-hoc interactions.

The IT Platform Engineer plays a pivotal role in enabling and accelerating the delivery of innovative and reliable technology solutions across our IT department. With experience in automation, orchestration, and security by design, this role is instrumental in optimizing the delivery of safe, reliable software and infrastructure to our customers.
This role demands strong collaboration and clear communication with other IT peers and business line partners. As an IT Platform Engineer, you will…
Proactively self-start on research, design, and implementation of new tools, capabilities, and processes to streamline software and infrastructure testing and deployment.
Manage and maintain our private cloud infrastructure.
Work with your team to build a set of reusable services for our infrastructure platform.
Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and availability using observability tools.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and efficient release management.
Develop and maintain Bank IT best practices in accordance with business needs and industry recommendations.
Evaluate, research, and recommend new systems and technology to improve existing processes and the user experience.
Use Infrastructure as Code principles to automate oversight of systems and services in a more scalable and sustainable strategy.
Implement configuration management for both infrastructure and applications, making them easier to secure, deploy, and maintain.Install and configure application and system software according to Bank policies and procedures while adhering to licensing requirements.Create and maintain accurate diagrams and documentation of supported systems and applications.Participate in the authoring and upkeep of IT standards and procedures.
Maintain a focus on security in all work efforts.
Assist in ensuring that the Bank complies with local, state, and federal regulations while adhering to applicable Bank policies and standards.
Actively share knowledge and provide training to enable the department to adopt DevOps practices and modern ways of working.
Focus upon the attainment of the Bank’s strategic objectives and the needs of business partners.
Interact harmoniously with others while providing outstanding customer experience.

Exhibit a strong commitment to information security and understanding of its importance.
Have a minimum of 2 years experience and a Bachelor's degree or a high school diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience in the field.
