About the role:
EUROAPI is looking for a proficient Network Engineer to participate in project & operational activities working in a team of matrixed resources. The key mission of the Network engineer is to support the operational model that has been defined by the Network Architect regarding (Network Standards, Cybersecurity rules, etc).
The Network engineer activities include WAN, WLAN, LAN, FW & Automation projects and support for all its entities in Europe, US & Japan.
The Network engineer will be integrated into a small team to cover network projects (SD-WAN, LAN Refresh, etc.) and Day-to-day operations.
Main responsibilities:
Define sourcing model aligned with company and ensure knowledge is kept internally.
Ensure ROI of the sourcing model meets technologies requirements & budget efficiency
Ensure network solutions are easy to deploy in the event of onboarding new companies
Participate in ensuring all Pharma compliances are met.
Participate in ensuring innovation automation processes – continuous improvement
Collaborate with Group IT expert to the definition of Network Standards and SOPs
Configuring and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls, according to Corporate Standards and SOPs,
Planning and executing network upgrades, expansions, and migrations in close collaboration with Group IT
Ensuring network infrastructure adheres to relevant GxP regulations and guidelines
Participating in network validation activities and maintaining validation documentation
Collaborating with cross-functional teams
Providing technical support and guidance to users and other team members

Requirements:
Professional experience, education, and knowledge:
Academic background: Computer Sciences, Information technology, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in Networking including solid architectural & deployment experience
Network experience in hybrid environment (AWS cloud and on premise + NGDC)
Good knowledge in firewall implementation and monitoring
In-depth core networking, monitoring knowledge
Languages:
Fluent in English
Fluency in Hungarian is preferred
Major competences and skills:
Able to drive operational efficiencies, with an aim to deliver and maintain reliable, secure and performant experience to users
Good written and verbal communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills
Change and Incident management skills
Ability to effectively prioritize
Strong capacity to work in an international environment
Ability to challenge in a positive mind-set existing processes and procedures
