Working as IT operations manager in IT Command Center (ITCC) you'll be responsible for the stability assurance and operations of the IT infrastructure across all business units of Cencora. Members in this role must be able to work collaboratively with system users and other technical colleagues across the globe. Individuals work across all functional areas of the enterprise and use a strong client service orientation to ensure that all requests and problems are resolved in a professional manner. Successful members of the team will be process focused while providing good customer service and assuring stable IT environment to Cencora IT teams and businesses.
This role oversees the development of enterprise standards and technology initiatives, and the IT governance process. IT operations manager will work together and manage one of two IT operations teams based in Vilnius which is working in 12 hours shifts to cover EMEA region hours. The role will give you an opportunity to have great work life balance, 3 or 4 working days a week only.
This role is also responsible for analyzing trends in technology, assessing the impact of emerging technologies on the business, providing solutions to address technology and business issues, and managing financial resources while ensuring the development of high-quality technology solutions.
Responsbilities:
- Supervision of Level 1 and 2 IT Engineers (Windows, Linux, Networks, Storage, Virtualization, Cloud), prioritizing tasks, assigning work (based on skills) and verifying tickets are handled accordingly.
- Notifications to appropriate stakeholders and communication to management on critical events.
- Provide proper shift turnover to incoming shift leveraging uniform standard process.
- Act on alerts, escalate incidents, and daily change requests within SLAs.
- Manages the development and implementation of IT initiatives to support business strategy.
- Manages the improvement processes that helps to assure stability and impacts customer satisfaction and relationships.
- Works with internal and external customers / stakeholders to understand business needs.
- Measures service performance and implements improvements.
- Ensures internal SLAs are met.
- Ensures compliance to policies, procedures, and standards.
- Communicates organization information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, and other communication methods.
- Supports an environment of open and upward communication with all staff to ensure positive employee morale, effective conflict resolution and upward flow of creative ideas for the benefit of the Company and its employees.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Work Experience:
- 5-7 years of IT and business/industry work experience.
- Requires experience in managing teams and building relationships with people at a variety of levels.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to communicate in English effectively both orally and in writing; ability to communicate with customers, associates and management.
- Solid team management, teamwork and interpersonal skills with strong orientation to efficiency.
- Strong time management, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate team or business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
- Ability to work in a dynamic and multidiscipline team, learn and apply new skills and techniques to respond to business needs.
- Understanding of business strategy and ability to translate strategy into system and technology solutions.
- Strong knowledge of IT, motivated to constantly be up to date with the newest technologies and proactively bring ideas to the table.
- Be open for a change and drive/support initiatives to improve existing working practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change, able to take calculated risk and seeks continuous improvement.
- Ability to establish solid relationships with vendors in support of initiatives; ability to negotiate and manage outside vendors against deliverables.
- Proactiveness and ability to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of key technology standards around ITIL and service delivery.
Salary: 4,657.55 - 6,653.67 eur gross/month
