We are looking for a Java Developer and System Integrator based in one of our Hubs in Boadilla del Monte, Cantabria, Málaga y Portugal.
The successful candidate must have a strong background in BAU production support ideally for a fast paced, large enterprise company. They must have ability to problem-solve, troubleshoot, effectively deal with incidents in a highly regulated environment.

A fantastic opportunity has become available to join the Customer Identity Access Management team as a Java Developer and System Integrator - this role sits within a fast paced, exciting team within the bank and working on some fantastic projects!
Key Responsibilities
- Managing your workload to deliver specific objectives with a flexible, ‘can do’ attitude with a solid sense of initiative
- Developing and delivering high quality code, individually or as a team player, with a holistic view of all project deliverables
- Engaging in code reviews and actively contributing to enforce common best practices and code quality controls
- Liaising with all levels of stakeholders
- Integrate Third party software in internal systems.
What you’ll bring
You’re sure to fit in if you like technology and are constantly learning about new developments, as well as having an interest in better understanding the risks faced by the Bank. In addition to developing your technical skills, you should also be interested in improving your soft skills.
If you think you’ve got what it takes, these are the key skills we’ll be looking for in your CV:
- Excellent full stack back-end experience in Java 17
- Some experience in RESTful APIs and microservices
- Familiar with a wide range of technologies including Apache Maven, Python, as well as Relational databases (Oracle)
- Proficient understanding of APIs best practices and modular object-orientated design and development
- Experience in Agile processes and CI/CD pipelines
- Able to work alone or in a team contributing to a collective target
The following would also be great...
- Experience in IT system design and solutioning
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ambition and ability to progress into SME and leadership role
- Experience in design and developing enterprise-level complex applications
- Some experience at Oauth 2.0 to use the right grant types like (authorization code, client credentilas, jwt bearer and token exchange flows).

- Support an On Call rota 24x7.
