The role
We are looking for an IT Network Administrator to strengthen the operations of our international enterprise network.
In this role, you support the day-to-day operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of our global Cisco-based network and Palo Alto security environment. You work with modern network technologies across LAN, WAN, WLAN, data centre networking, firewalling, remote access VPN, and network automation.
You are part of a hands-on Network team and help ensure that our network services remain stable, secure, well-documented, and ready to support the needs of an international business.
How you’ll make an impact
- You operate and maintain our international Cisco-based enterprise network across LAN, WAN, WLAN, Cisco ACI, and related network services.
- You monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including remote access VPN services.
- You handle network incidents, service requests, operational changes, and root cause analysis with a structured and service-oriented approach.
- You perform regular network maintenance activities, lifecycle tasks, upgrades, and configuration changes to ensure stable and secure operations.
- You contribute to network automation, standardisation, and operational efficiency, especially using tools such as Ansible.
- You participate in operational projects that improve network stability, security, scalability, and automation.
- You maintain clear and reliable documentation for network systems, processes, configurations, and operational procedures, while collaborating closely with colleagues from Infrastructure, Security, Workplace, Service Desk, local IT teams, and external partners.
What’s important to us
- You have a basic education in computer science, network technology, or a related IT discipline.
- You bring at least three years of hands-on experience in a similar network operations or network administration role.
- You have solid knowledge of Cisco networking, especially Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies.
- You are familiar with enterprise network environments, ideally including Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus, wireless networks, WAN, and data centre networking.
- You have relevant network training or certification; Cisco CCNA or CCNP is highly valued, but not a requirement.
- You have basic firewalling knowledge; experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls would be beneficial.
- You have a structured troubleshooting mindset and can analyse technical issues in a calm, precise, and solution-oriented way.
- You are interested in automation and scripting, for example, with Ansible or Python.
- You communicate clearly in English within an international team environment.
- You are motivated, reliable, eager to learn, and willing to take ownership of operational topics.
- You enjoy working in a team where collaboration, transparency, and hands-on contribution are essential.
- Fluent in English
If you feel you don't meet all the requirements, we are still happy to get to know you, learn more about your ambitions and ideas and look forward to receiving your application!
We welcome people from all backgrounds, regardless of their gender, personality, national origin, race, religion, colour, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, marital status, disability or veteran status.
