ACS Motion Control is a supplier of high-end motion control products. We're looking for a visionary and hands-on technology leader to shape and drive our organizational digital platforms.
As a Manager of Information Systems and Technology, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of our technology infrastructure and digital capabilities.
This is a key leadership role that requires both strategic thinking and operational execution.
The ideal candidate is passionate about innovation, data-driven decision-making, and leveraging emerging technologies like AI and automation to optimize business performance and create organizational impact.
The role encompasses end-to-end responsibility for the organization’s IT operations, including information security, communication networks, and computing infrastructure - ensuring high availability, reliability, and compliance with cybersecurity standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and lead the company’s IT and digital transformation strategy
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) Implementation:
- Lead the full lifecycle of identifying, evaluating, and implementing AI-driven tools and platforms within the organization.
- Own and drive AI adoption strategies that enhance operational efficiency, decision-making, and innovation across departments.
- Automation & Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with department heads and functional leaders to identify opportunities for process automation and digital optimization.
- Provide technological support and system solutions to enable automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- IT Infrastructure & Systems Management:
- Oversee the maintenance, performance, and scalability of all computing, network, and communications infrastructure.
- Ensure reliable and secure IT operations across the organization, including cloud and on-premises environments.
- Cybersecurity & Information Security:
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard organizational data and systems.
- Lead efforts to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Helpdesk & User Support:
- Manage day-to-day IT support operations through a responsive and service-oriented Helpdesk function.
- Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and a high level of user satisfaction.
- Team Leadership & Staff Development:
- Lead and manage a dedicated IT and IS team of 3–4 professionals, including infrastructure, support, Information systems and systems specialists.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture focused on service, innovation, and accountability.
· Manage vendors, budgets, and contracts related to IT and technology services.
· Oversee core Information Systems, primarily ERP, BI, and CRM platforms, ensuring they align with business needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in information systems management, including at least 2 years in a leading position.
- Proven experience leading organization-wide tech projects, including AI or automation initiatives
- Demonstrated experience in evaluating and implementing Information systems solutions (ERP – Priority advantage, CRM – Salesforce advantage)
- Significant advantage: experience working in medium-sized organizations (100–300 employees)
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business needs into technological solutions
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, and contracts
- Relevant academic background (Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems) – required; master’s degree – an advantage
- High-level command of Hebrew and English – written and spoken – with strong communication abilities
