The Role
This role will be crucial in maintaining and improving Farther's IT infrastructure, ensuring security, and supporting our growing team. We are looking for a passionate and experienced IT Manager to play a key role in our IT operations, enhance our security posture, and drive efficiency across the organization. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy learning new technologies, and excel at working collaboratively with various teams.
Your Impact
- Design, manage, and deploy security hardening for cloud platforms (e.g., Office 365/Azure AD/AWS).
- Maintain code scanning features to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities.
- Monitor infrastructure (internal and external) for vulnerabilities and drive remediation efforts.
- Develop documentation of changes and measures to improve security posture.
- Manage IT projects, including planning, execution, and completion.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal users.
- Manage IT budgets and forecasting for large-scale projects.
- Ensure proper operation of key software solutions and enforce security compliance requirements.
- Lead incident handling and incident response efforts

- Passion for cybersecurity and technology.
- Experience in designing, managing, and deploying security hardening for cloud platforms.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong experience in vulnerability management, remediation, and incident response.
- Experience with project management and technical resource allocation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in documenting changes and measures to improve security posture.
Bonus Points
- Experience with Security Operation Center (SOC) platforms.
- Experience with containerized solutions.
- Familiarity with security researcher and threat hunting technologies.
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with Hadoop, Kafka, and Elasticsearch.
- Experience with SOC 2 Type 2 certification.
