Group Summary:
The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsbilities:

  • Responsible for the evaluation, sourcing and implementation of all software including ERP (SAP), MES, EDI as well as all hardware and network requirements in accordance to existing Magna standards.
  • Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of IT systems and associated hardware in accordance to existing company standards.
  • Ensure proper prioritization and fast implementation of IT changes.
  • Analyze and document existing business processes in the company. Investigate their problem areas.
  • Design, negotiate, align with stakeholders and lead implementation of new (or changes to existing) business processes.
  • Manage hardware and software providers, as well as, IT consultants.
  • Analyze existing operations and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the network\\servers\\telephony infrastructure and IT systems.
  • Manage the budget for his/her area of responsibility.
  • Develop, install, and practice all contingency plans for the IT Systems that support the production environment.
  • Ensure that system down-times are kept at absolute minimum by providing and implementing emergency strategies for all anticipated situations.
  • Implement highly efficient user support and process to resolve any problem/ failure within minimum time.
  • Ensure high satisfaction rate of internal customers.
  • Ensure implementation of IT General Controls and Tisax IT requirements.


Our requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an Information Technology environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure, business applications and production systems required for user support.
  • Good knowledge of SAP.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, as well as, strong organization skills.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Good understanding of standard business processes in manufacturing (operations and logistics).
  • English level - Upper intermediate.
  • IT certifications such as ITIL as additional preferable.
