As the organisation continues to expand through acquisition, we are seeking an experienced IT Manager to establish and maintain secure, standardised technology infrastructure across all locations.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our corporate IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems administration and HIPAA security programme.
This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining secure systems, supporting practice integrations, managing user access, strengthening governance and serving as the organisation's designated HIPAA Security Officer.
What You'll Be Doing- Manage corporate IT infrastructure across multiple healthcare locations.
- Serve as HIPAA Security Officer.
- Administer Microsoft 365, EMR systems and cloud applications.
- Manage onboarding, offboarding and user access controls.
- Conduct quarterly access reviews.
- Perform annual HIPAA Security Risk Analyses.
- Develop and maintain IT security policies.
- Monitor systems containing PHI.
- Lead incident response and breach investigations.
- Manage disaster recovery and backup processes.
- Coordinate with software vendors and outsourced IT providers.
- Support integration of newly acquired practices.
- Deliver IT and cybersecurity training to non-technical staff.
- Maintain documentation for audits and accreditation.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years' IT management or systems administration experience.
- At least 2 years supporting healthcare or other regulated environments handling PHI.
- Experience administering enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Knowledge of HIPAA Security Rule requirements.
- Experience with network security, endpoint protection and access management.
- Experience developing IT policies and procedures.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to travel up to 40%.
- Ability to respond to security incidents outside normal business hours when required.
- Previous HIPAA Security Officer experience.
- EMR/EHR administration experience.
- Multi-site healthcare organisation experience.
- Experience integrating acquired businesses.
- Security certifications including Security+, HCISPP, CHPS or CISSP.
- Healthcare information security training.
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year based on experience
