An IT Manager collaborates with company customers, staff members, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to define customer requirements, assess available technologies, and develop and present viable solution options.
Job Description:
- IT Manager possess knowledge of various business processes used by systems applications and are able to recommend strategies and tactics to satisfy customer needs.
- They participate in the business support planning process. This may include evaluating application software packages and making recommendations to management.
- They maintain good relationships with customers and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels.
- They are responsible for on-time product delivery, which requires a clear understanding of expectations and capabilities of their team.
- IT Manager provide analytical and technical expertise within an assigned business unit/function, helping to identify innovative solutions for business opportunities, provide and recommend data security solutions when required, and utilize formal decision-making techniques to make alternative recommendations.
- IT Manager is expected to work and communicate effectively with personnel at all levels within the organization. They work with the IT and Business functions to determine the annual IT initiatives that will support their strategic objectives.
- The IT Manager is experienced with project management techniques and is capable of leading many projects at one time.
- IT Manager understand the PPG architecture and methodology standards. They plan, direct and oversee all aspects of a project and are accountable for ensuring product delivery.
- They also assure business application systems are developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices.
- They must respond appropriately to system maintenance requests and use their analytical abilities to isolate and prioritize problems.
- They are often designated as softwares custodians and are responsible for monitoring and implementing PPG’s internal IT control policies.
Requirements:
- Experienced Oracle EBS 12 Functional OTC (Order to Cash)
- Expert with strong expertise in the following Oracle modules:
Order Management (OM)
Billing
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Advanced Pricing
Credit Management.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other IT-related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Oracle Functional OTC.
- Proven participation in at least one full Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) implementation.
- Understanding of Brazilian tax regulations and compliance requirements; knowledge of impacts related to Tax Reform is a plus.
- Experience with system integration, particularly with MasterSaf and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Fluent in Brazilian Portuguese.
- Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in project management.
- PL/SQL experience is desirable.
