You’ll have the opportunity to lead and develop a small but mighty IT function, currently a team of two, and design the digital employee experience for a fast-growing, international team of music and tech enthusiasts.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As our IT Manager / IT Specialist, you will:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the small but effective IT team.
- Manage and develop Yousician’s IT environment with a focus on digital employee experience and operational excellence.
- Oversee macOS device management and ensure smooth onboarding/offboarding processes using modern tools.
Keep our systems and tools well-organized, secure, and aligned with company needs. - Support employees by solving open-ended IT challenges and proactively improving workflows.
Collaborate with teams across the company to ensure IT solutions meet changing business demands. - Manage IT assets, vendor relationships, and SaaS tools.
- Plan ahead for new tools, automations, and integrations as the company grows.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Hard requirements:
- Proven experience managing macOS devices with modern tools (e.g. Kandji).
- 5+ years of overall IT field experience — the more varied, the better.
- Proven experience solving open-ended IT problems and designing practical solutions.
Helpful experience:
- Budgeting and vendor management.
- Existing connections to local vendors in Finland.
- Team management experience
- Finnish language skills (not required but occasionally useful).
- German language skills are a plus.
Experience with scripting and working with APIs.

Your own instrument
We also have our own stage at our Helsinki office. We also have a double bass, electric and acoustic guitars, a baby grand piano, digital pianos, mixers, microphones, drums, you name it! We have jam sessions after work on Fridays (when it’s safe to do so).
A recording studio
In Helsinki, we have our own recording studio–which you are free to use for your own projects. We love music and encourage everyone to play their favorite songs.
