Our team is excited to find our next IT Intern to join the company

Role: IT Intern

What you will be doing:

• Assist with hardware and software setup, installation, and configuration (Macs, Windows, Linux and iPhones)
• Support remote end-users with technical issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and applications
• Help maintain IT inventory and document assets
• Participate in system updates, patches, and backups
• Assist with network troubleshooting and basic administration tasks
• Help onboard and offboard users (creating accounts, configuring equipment, etc.)
• Support IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, or security audits
• Document IT procedures and update internal knowledge base
• Shadow IT team members and gain exposure to areas such as cybersecurity, cloud computing, and enterprise systems
• US Citizenship or Permanent residency required

What we are Looking for:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Basic understanding of Windows and/or Mac operating systems
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, or similar platforms
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced IT setting
• Must be available to work onsite at our Pasadena office, Monday through Friday

What are our Preferred requirements:

• Good experience to have:
  • Google Workspace administration
  • Slack Administration
  • Automox patch management
  • Apple Business Manager
  • Atlassian Administration - Jira/Confluence
  • Tenable Vulnerability Management

What are some Valued skills:

• Networking fundamentals (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP)
• Microsoft Office 365 / Google Workspace
• Understanding of cybersecurity basics (e.g., phishing, MFA)
• Cloud basics (AWS)
• Ticketing systems (HelpDesk Jira Service Project)
• System imaging or software deployment tools (SmartDeploy)
