Our team is excited to find our next IT Intern to join the company
Role: IT Intern
What you will be doing:
- Assist with hardware and software setup, installation, and configuration (Macs, Windows, Linux and iPhones)
- Support remote end-users with technical issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and applications
- Help maintain IT inventory and document assets
- Participate in system updates, patches, and backups
- Assist with network troubleshooting and basic administration tasks
- Help onboard and offboard users (creating accounts, configuring equipment, etc.)
- Support IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, or security audits
- Document IT procedures and update internal knowledge base
- Shadow IT team members and gain exposure to areas such as cybersecurity, cloud computing, and enterprise systems
- US Citizenship or Permanent residency required
What we are Looking for:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of Windows and/or Mac operating systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, or similar platforms
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced IT setting
- Must be available to work onsite at our Pasadena office, Monday through Friday
What are our Preferred requirements:
- Good experience to have:
- Google Workspace administration
- Slack Administration
- Automox patch management
- Apple Business Manager
- Atlassian Administration - Jira/Confluence
- Tenable Vulnerability Management
What are some Valued skills:
- Networking fundamentals (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP)
- Microsoft Office 365 / Google Workspace
- Understanding of cybersecurity basics (e.g., phishing, MFA)
- Cloud basics (AWS)
- Ticketing systems (HelpDesk Jira Service Project)
- System imaging or software deployment tools (SmartDeploy)
