Summary:
Supports local area computer network and end user activities by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a positive and professional manner.
- Assists in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of business applications under the guidance of senior developers and IT management.
- Learns and applies programming concepts, development standards, and coding best practices.
- Supports enhancements and modifications to existing applications and systems.
- Assists with troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving application issues.
- Participates in software testing, quality assurance, and deployment activities.
- Collaborates with developers, analysts, and business users to understand business processes and system requirements.
- Follows established IT policies, security standards, and development methodologies.
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and business processes.
- Participates in team meetings, training sessions, and project activities as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

Education/Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience..
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases. Skills Required
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or two to three years of related experience and/or training
- Basic PC and network communication troubleshooting skills
- Basic PC, client, and printer configuration skills
- Basic working knowledge of PC administration
- Basic understanding of maintaining, updating, and reloading Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to solve technical problems with limited assistance
- Valid driver's license and commercial insurability
- Willingness to travel to and work at other company locations or regions for extended periods
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, present information, and respond to questions
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
