IT Integration Engineer

GenesisCare are seeking to hire an IT Integration Engineer for an initial 6month maximum term contract, where you can be based in either NSW/WA/VIC/QLD/SA. This is a full-time role that offers great flexibility and work/life balance with the opportunity to work from home and our clinics.

This role is designed to support and develop key integrations and carry out relevant testing between clinical and enterprise applications. Your primary focus will be utilising APIs and or middleware’s to drive existing and new integrations.

More specifically, you will: 

• Provide technical integration expertise and experience during planning, design and the delivery phases of integration projects.
• Utilise middleware to drive existing and new integrations, encompassing other parts of the integration stack such as databases, third party interfaces and APIs.
• Assist in the requirement gathering and analysis of new business initiatives that require integration.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of integration solutions while accounting for clinical and business workflow.

We're interested in hearing from people who have: 

• Bachelors degree in an IT related field e.g. IT Computer Science.
• Experience in Healthcare integration & Integration technical design FHIR/H.
• 3+ years’ programming experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
• Strong technology and systems analysis understanding.
• Understanding of and demonstrated experience using Agile practices.
• Experience in problem-solving and issue resolution, information collection, logging, steps to reproduce, diagnosis, root cause analysis as well as recommendations on remediation and resolution.
• Extensive experience using middleware integration platforms.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail in ensuring documentation is delivered at a high standard.
• Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements for integration solutions.
• Focused on ultimately supporting the needs of patients i.e. IT’s customers’ customers.
