We are seeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage and support the company's IT infrastructure, network, cybersecurity, cloud services, servers, end-user computing devices, and AI-driven technology initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of the organization's IT environment while driving automation and AI adoption to improve operational productivity.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure & Systems
- Manage, maintain, and optimize company servers, storage systems, cloud platforms, and network infrastructure.
- Configure and support network devices including firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, and wireless networks.
- Administer Windows and Linux operating systems, virtualization platforms, and cloud services.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure business continuity.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, controls, and best practices.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and system threats.
- Conduct periodic security assessments, audits, and risk reviews.
- Support endpoint security, identity and access management, and data protection initiatives.
End-User Support & IT Operations
- Provide technical support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, software applications, and IT equipment.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email systems, and collaboration platforms.
- Coordinate IT asset management, procurement, maintenance, and vendor support.
- Ensure timely resolution of IT incidents and service requests.
Backup, Recovery & Business Continuity
- Manage backup solutions and disaster recovery procedures.
- Conduct regular backup verification and recovery testing.
- Support business continuity planning and infrastructure resilience initiatives.
AI & Digital Transformation
- Evaluate, implement, and support AI-powered tools and technologies to improve business productivity and operational efficiency.
- Drive automation initiatives using AI, scripting, workflow tools, and emerging technologies.
- Provide guidance and support to departments in adopting AI solutions for daily operations.
- Stay updated on AI trends, cybersecurity technologies, and infrastructure innovations.
Project & Vendor Management
- Work with internal stakeholders, service providers, and technology vendors to deliver IT projects and solutions.
- Coordinate infrastructure upgrades, system implementations, migrations, and technology deployments.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and system architecture records.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems Administration, Network Engineering, or a related role.
- Experience managing servers, cloud platforms, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity solutions.
- Experience supporting end-user computing devices and corporate IT environments.
- Exposure to virtualization, cloud services, backup solutions, and security technologies is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Network administration (Firewall, VPN, DNS, DHCP, Switching, Routing).
- Cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or AWS.
- Cybersecurity technologies and security best practices.
- AI tools, automation platforms, scripting, and workflow optimization technologies.
AI Competency (Mandatory)
- Strong interest and practical knowledge in AI tools and technologies.
- Ability to leverage AI to improve productivity, automate workflows, and enhance IT operations.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools for troubleshooting, documentation, system administration, or process automation is highly preferred.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adopt emerging AI technologies as part of modern IT capability.
