Job Description Summary:We are looking for a skilled and motivated IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, manage, and optimize our on-premises and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, security, scalability, and performance of systems while supporting business growth and digital transformation initiatives.Job Description:Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS).
Manage and monitor servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and network components.
Administer cloud environments, including compute, networking, storage, and security services.
Ensure system reliability, performance, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
Implement and maintain security best practices, patching, and access controls.
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and operations using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Collaborate with application, security, and DevOps teams to support deployments and integrations.
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
Support capacity planning and cost optimization for on-prem and cloud environments.
Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and cloud adoption projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of on-prem infrastructure (Windows/Linux servers, virtualization such as VMware/Hyper-V, storage, networking).
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls).
Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability architectures.
Familiarity with automation and scripting (PowerShell).
Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice to Have
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Cloud and/or infrastructure certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, VMware).
Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
ITIL knowledge or certification.
Soft Skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proactive mindset and sense of ownership.
Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
