As an Infrastructure and Cloud Consultant, you will play a critical role in delivering robust Microsoft-based solutions that align with our established implementation frameworks. Leveraging your expertise in technologies such as Office 365, Windows Server and enterprise-grade security and networking infrastructure, you will guide clients through seamless adoption and integration of these platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Design and Delivery
    • Lead the deployment of Microsoft infrastructure and cloud solutions in accordance with our technical baselines and best practices.
    • Ensure all implementations are thoroughly documented and meet our rigorous quality standards.
  • Client Engagement and Enablement
    • Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and tailor solutions to meet their operational goals.
    • Provide training, support, and guidance to facilitate successful adoption and long-term value realization.
  • Project Transition and Quality Assurance
    • Oversee the handover of completed projects to our Service Delivery team, ensuring all quality assurance protocols are met.
    • Conduct post-implementation reviews to validate outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Strategic Contribution
    • Contribute to the evolution of our product portfolio and implementation methodologies by providing feedback and insights from field experience.
    • Help refine solution offerings to ensure they remain aligned with emerging client needs and industry trends.

Main Tasks

  • Deliver multiple project baselines (10–25 day durations) across varied environments (50–100 users, VPNs, multi-site).
  • Collaborate with IT Project Managers to manage resources and track progress.
  • Provide regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Push back on unachievable deliverables with clear, constructive feedback.
  • Suggest innovative technical solutions to enhance account management.
  • Create and maintain high-quality documentation.
  • Communicate technical updates clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, including C-suite, during project delivery and pre-sales.
  • Guide baseline decisions and ensure alignment across the PS team.
  • Drive internal efficiency and process improvements.
  • Mentor junior team members and support onboarding initiatives.
  • Maintain KPIs: Quality Score and Customer Feedback Score consistently above 90%.

Qualifications & Certifications

We’re looking for candidates with a mix of formal qualifications and hands-on experience. Ideal certifications include:

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)
  • CompTIA A+ and Network+
  • Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or SC-300
  • Hornet VM & 365 Backup Training
  • 4GON Ubiquiti Wireless Administrator
  • WatchGuard Firewall Implementation Course

Experience & Skills

  • 2+ years in IT consultancy or technical delivery roles, ideally in cloud or infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of successful solution delivery.
  • Strong project scoping, resource management, and communication skills.
  • Commercial and business awareness.

Salary of between £40,000 to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience).
