About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Project Lead to drive operations transformation initiatives within our Operations Excellence organization. As the Project Lead, you will be responsible for identifying, initiating, and leading global digital projects that improve quality, processes, efficiency, governance, and compliance within our operations organization. Your ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive change will be essential in achieving targeted improvement results and successfully implementing transformational projects.
What You Will Do
Project Identification and Initiation:
Identify improvement areas within the operations organization and initiate digital projects to address them.
Define project scopes, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with operations excellence goals.
Global Project Leadership & Team Management:
Simultaneously lead complex digital projects or initiatives with global impact.
Lead cross-functional project management teams, both within and outside the operations organization.
Drive project timelines, milestones, and schedules to ensure successful achievement of improvement results.
Stakeholder Engagement and Alignment:
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels of management.
Drive cross-functional alignment on all levels of management and achieve stakeholder acceptance within as well as outside the operations organization in order to influence, change or recreate business processes.
Foster cross-functional alignment by collaborating with stakeholders within and outside the operations organization.
Reporting and Communication:
Provide periodic status reports on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Prepare and deliver presentations to senior-level management, conveying project updates and seeking decision-making support.
Engage senior management participants as needed to ensure project success within defined timeframes and frameworks.
Change Management and Results Orientation:
Apply change management principles and methodologies to facilitate smooth project implementation and adoption.
Continuously monitor and evaluate project outcomes, ensuring that targeted improvement results are achieved.
Drive a results-oriented mindset within the project team, fostering accountability and a focus on delivering tangible outcomes.
What You Need to Be Successful
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
5-8 years of relevant business experience within operations or surrounding functions.
Proven experience in leading global digital projects within a operations or supply chain function.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent coordination and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Demonstrated ability to drive change and influence stakeholders at all levels of management.
Effective communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present to senior-level management.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targeted improvement outcomes.
Familiarity with change management principles and methodologies.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Strong digital understanding, experience in digital project management is a plus.
Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to mediate conflict between parties.
Strong presentation skills.
Bonus Points if You Have
MBA or Master's degree.
Experience in different operations functions within and outside HARMAN.
Experience in digital projects and/or managing cross-functional projects and teams.
