Reporting to: Senior Director, IT + Security

What’s the role?

Join the dynamic team at Bilt as an IT Helpdesk Specialist. This role is critical in supporting our rapidly evolving tech environment, ensuring seamless daily operations for our team. You'll be an integral part of enhancing Bilt's Tech Ops team, leveraging your expertise in IT support to elevate our infrastructure and security measures.



In this role, you will… 

  • Provide first-line support for IT-related questions, and troubleshooting issues related to our primary tools: Okta, Kandji, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Entitle, etc, ensuring a smooth tech experience for our team.
  • Oversee the deployment and management of hardware, predominantly Mac with a small percentage of Windows devices, using our Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, Kandji and Intune.
  • Support our office network infrastructure, working with Ubiquiti routers and switches to ensure reliable connectivity.
  • Collaborate with the IT and Security teams to implement cybersecurity measures, including staff education on best practices.
  • Assist in the onboarding and offboarding process. Setting up and shutting down necessary accounts and hardware.
  • Contribute to the documentation and continuous improvement of IT processes and security protocols.

 

In terms of qualifications, we’re seeking:

  • Experience working in and in supporting both MacOS & Windows operating systems
  • Support experience with Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Zoom, and showcasing familiarity with popular workplace platforms
  • Proficient with various IT Helpdesk services
  • 3+ years of experience in IT operations
  • An exceptional communicator, with strong interpersonal skills to effectively assist end users with technical issues
  • Strong at troubleshooting and problem-solving skills that translate into quick and efficient resolutions

We are considering candidates with differing levels of expertise for this position. Leveling will be based upon your experience and performance in the interview process.

Where a new hire falls within a range will be based on their individual skills and experience, and how these competencies compare across other employees in the same role. Bilt's bands are designed to allow for individual compensation growth within the role. As such, new hires typically start at the lower end of the range. Bilt rewards performance and outcomes - should you join the company, you will have the opportunity to grow your salary over time.

The salary range for a IT Helpdesk Specialist is $80,000 - 110,000 and will be eligible for equity and an annual performance-based bonus.
